What a cool costume! Look at the bird on the dog’s hat. How cute! This costume includes shirt and pants, the hat and hook. It comes in sizes Small, Medium, and Large.
Ah Hoy Matie! If you are looking for a cute pirate dog costume for Halloween, you have come to the right place! Just click on the text links to purchase one of these Halloween dog costumes for your pup.
Here’s a different style. Really cute!
This cute little pirate costume includes the rob, hat and paw covers. It comes in sizes Extra-Small, Small, Medium, and Large.
This one wold be adorable for your little girl pirate dog! The outfit has a little skirt on it so it is definitely intended for female pirate dogs. It includes the hat and comes in sizes Extra-Small, Small and Medium.
This would be great for the pirate’s first mate to wear! Actually it would be good for any dog to wear during the month of October to celebrate the upcoming Halloween.
A bandana is also a good choice for dogs who hate wearing costumes.
Pirates have been around for many centuries, in fact since humans started to sail the 7 seas. They have come from almost every nation. There are even pirates in modern day society, that often attack cruise ships or freighters.
Pirates were often greedy, cruel, blood thirsty and dirty. So why have we had a fascination for them? There is something wild, free and romantic about pirates.
There were female pirates too. Most notably was Mary Read and Anne Bonny. I find it facinating that these women were able to hold their own in a brutal man’s world.
Although Calico Jack Rackham was a man, he employed female pirates (Mary Read and Anne Bonny among them) and was most famous for that. I guess he was an Equal Opportunity Pirate.
Some other famous pirates were a Haitian named Black Caesar, Captain Kidd, and probably most famous of all, Blackbeard.
In recent years, pirates have regained their popularity in pop culture from the popular Pirates of the Caribean movies.
I wonder if there were any pirate dogs? Even if there were not, your dog can still pretend to be a pirate for Halloween with the
pirate dog costumes shown above!

Those dog costumes are ridiculously cute. If I thought my dog would keep it on for more than 2 minutes I’d seriously consider buying one.
Any tips on keeping your dog in their costume?

Dog Allergies thinks it would be hard to keep the costume on. I am with him. I had a Santa costume for my poodle a few years ago, and it lasted a lot less than two minutes. Just enough time for a quick pick.
For that reason I think the Skull Bandana is a great idea.

These dog pirate costumes are just great. I especially like the bull dog one, just fits his looks perfectly. Almost makes me want to get a bull dog but I think my two bests might object to a newcomer in the family.

The only problem I see here is Halloween only comes once a year. With outfits like these they ought to come up with a reason to have it come once a month anyway to show off the dog’s pirate booty. Awesome!!!

Holy cow (dog) you have a lot of comments on this site! I love the doggie costumes with the little fake arms and feet. In fact, I love them all, but I’m afraid my pooch would have a different opinion.
Thanks very much!

I have enjoyed browsing through this site very much. There are some wonderfully cute and entertaining costumes here. My favourite has just got to be the prirate outfit – the detail, with the parrot, and hook is just superb.
Great fun and a brilliant way to get everyone into a good mood – not just at Halloween.

Wow, two of my favorite things: dogs and pirates! These costumes look like a lot of fun, though I must agree with the person who says that their dog probably won’t be willing to wear the costume very long.

A dog dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow would be the ultimate at Halloween, especially if the entire family all got dressed up as Pirates as well!

The Zeda Pirate Dog Costume on the bull dog is so cool looking. I can see the dog owner dressing up as a pirate and walking the neighborhood Halloween night. Thanks for using the KeywordLuv plugin and providing benefits for both of us.
